Hound Huddle Training

Classes:

Each session consists of 6 classes, meeting once weekly, and costs $90. Classes will be limited to 10 dogs. For each class you will need a 6' leather or nylon leash, a treat pouch and lots of small treats. For your convenience, we will be carrying these items in our retail area.

If none of the current sessions work for you, stay tuned for new sessions, added regularly.

These are the last classes until 2009 and they will fill up fast so sign up early. If you have suggestions for future classes, please let us know your ideas by contacting us.

For dogs age 6 months and older, and for head start graduates. Classes will re-enforce basic manners and commands. Dogs will learn the command “stay” as well as to focus with lots of distractions. In this class we learn to "heel" with our dogs and have plenty of question and answer time.

Intermediate obedience:
Saturdays, Oct. 25 - Dec. 6: 11:30 - 12:30 with Jodi Wolfram
(Note: No class Thanksgiving Week)
For adult dogs who have graduated basic obedience. For this class we follow the AKC Canine Good Citizen test book. Beginner obedience is a prerequisite to taking this class. This is a class where we "bomb proof" the dogs. We will be adding beginner and advanced agility as well as Rally and Tricks and Games classes in 2008!

Private training is available by appointment:
If your dog meets our day care requirements, he or she can receive one on one training on Wednesdays while at day care. Dogs that do not pass our socialization evaluation or would like private sessions with their handlers just need to let us know and we can schedule mutually beneficial times either at our facility or at your home.

She currently lives in Madison with her three dogs a chocolate lab, a shepard mix, and a great dane/lab mix.
